MG serves as official vehicle for Copa del Rey Mapfre

MG, a brand under the SAIC Group, served as the official vehicle provider for the 44th Copa del Rey Mapfre, which concluded recently in the Bay of Palma. The manufacturer provided a fleet of ten vehicles to transport guests, participants, and accredited personnel.

The fleet included various models such as the HS, ZS, S6, and S9, utilizing HEV, PHEV, or 100% electric technologies for VIP shuttle services. The MG Cyberster sports car also drew significant attention from sailors and spectators during the event.

This partnership aligns with MG's broader involvement in European sailing, including roles as an official automotive partner for the Royal Yachting Association and the British Sailing Team in the United Kingdom, as well as sponsoring the Sailing Club of the Year award in Ireland.
