MG unveils GO! electric hatchback concept, aims for 2027 production

MG, the British brand now owned by Chinese investors, presented its GO! concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2026. The five‑door electric hatchback blends modern design with cues from the classic MGB GT and targets a market launch in 2027. The company described the GO! as a compact, affordable EV meant to revive the appeal of low‑cost, character‑rich vehicles, positioning it against models such as the Renault 5 and Mini Cooper E.

A second MG prototype, the larger Cyber Concept SUV, was also displayed but remains farther from production, lacking an interior in its current form. MG hinted the GO! may not be sold in the United Kingdom, despite the brand’s UK design origins.
