Mégantic candidates campaign ahead of Quebec provincial election

As the Quebec provincial election approaches, candidates in the Mégantic riding are intensifying efforts to mobilize voters.

Jimmy Gagnon of the Conservative Party of Quebec, currently leading in polls, is advocating for radical change to simplify life for all social classes. His primary objectives include maintaining hospital services, ensuring transparency regarding the bypass road project, and eliminating over-regulation in various sectors.

Debbie Fennety of the Parti Québécois is closely following the conservative candidate in recent forecasts. Her priorities focus on the accessibility of local services, specifically the obstetrics department, addressing the cost of living, and supporting the agri-food and forestry sectors.

François Jacques, the incumbent representative for the Coalition Avenir Québec, holds the third position in polling. He intends to leverage his eight years of political experience to continue his mandate.
