MGEN and Butagaz partner with LFFP to support women's football

The Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel (LFFP) has secured two new major partners, MGEN and Butagaz, to support the growth of women's professional football in France.

MGEN has become the primary major partner for the league. The partnership aims to address societal issues, specifically the high rate of adolescent girls abandoning sports. To combat this, the league will introduce a ‘player of the match’ trophy in the Arkema Première Ligue to provide young athletes with visible role models.

Butagaz Eco-énergie joins as a partner, expanding its existing involvement in French women's sports following its role with the women's handball league.
