MH Said Abdullah distributes funds to renovate 25 homes on Raas Island
MH Said Abdullah, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) from the PDI Perjuangan faction, has distributed recess funds to rehabilitate 25 uninhabitable houses on Raas Island, Sumenep Regency.
Each recipient family will receive Rp23 million, totaling Rp575 million for the program. The assistance is specifically designated for the physical rehabilitation of existing structures rather than new construction. Recipients may use the funds flexibly to address specific needs such as repairing roofs, ceilings, walls, or installing floor tiles.
The distribution ceremony took place at the Brakas Village Multipurpose Building and was attended by community representatives and village heads from five areas: Karang Nangka, Jungkat, Alas Malang, Tonduk, and Brakas. The renovation work is expected to be completed gradually within one month.
