MHP Bandırma District Organization introduces new leadership

The Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP) Bandırma District Organization held a press conference to introduce its new leadership team under District Chairman Harun Algül. Following the congress held on August 9, 2026, the new administration took over from Bekir Bozkurt, emphasizing a commitment to a diverse and merit-based staff.

Algül announced that a new, modern district headquarters will be opened soon to better serve the party's mission. Regarding national issues, he referenced the leadership of Devlet Bahçeli and discussed ongoing counter-terrorism efforts, noting the closure of four recent camps.

On a local level, Algül stated that the MHP aims to provide constructive opposition in Bandırma. He criticized recent municipal decisions regarding the sale of land and real estate, specifically mentioning a sale in the Levent neighborhood. He argued that the municipality should pursue higher-value projects, such as increased floor counts and commercial areas, to maximize revenue for the district.
