MHP Chairman Kazım Arslan Visits Fire‑Hit Villages in Gömeç, Turkey

In the Gömeç district of Balıkesir province, Turkey, the villages of Kumgedik and Hacıhüseyinler were severely affected by a recent fire. The district chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Kazım Arslan, together with his team, visited the affected neighborhoods to meet residents and assess damage.

During the visit Arslan expressed condolences, saying, "Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi Gömeç İlçe Başkanlığı olarak, yangından etkilenen Kumgedik ve Hacıhüseyinler Mahallelerimizi ziyaret ederek kıymetli hemşehrilerimizle bir araya geldik," and pledged that the party would cooperate with state institutions to provide swift assistance and support to the victims.

The visits were presented as a concrete example of local solidarity and political engagement in the post‑disaster recovery effort, with officials promising continued coordination to address both material and moral needs of the community.
