MHT CET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Results Published on August 2

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell released the Round 1 seat‑allotment results for the 2026 intake on August 2. The result covers more than 1.6 lakh seats in government and private engineering colleges across Maharashtra. Candidates can view their allotted BTech programmes by logging into the official portal (fe2026.mahacet.org) with their application ID and date of birth, then downloading the allotment letter.

Allotted students must accept their seats and report to the assigned colleges between August 3 and August 5. Seats that remain vacant will be displayed on August 6, with the second round of counselling (CAP Round 2) opening on August 7 and closing on August 9. The first round follows the merit rank, category, reservation policy, and preferences entered by each applicant.
