Mái ấm gia đình Việt raises nearly 700 million VND for families

The charity program ‘Mái ấm gia đình Việt’ (Vietnamese Family Shelter) episode 32 raised nearly 700 million VND in prizes and donations for families in need. The episode featured guests Tiến Luật and Sam, who participated in various physical challenges to secure funds for the beneficiaries.

One featured family is that of 12-year-old Lâm Ngọc Nhi from Vĩnh Long province. Following the death of her mother to lung cancer in 2017, Nhi has lived with her father, grandmother, and siblings in a dilapidated home. Her father, Lâm Quang Khương, works as a construction laborer but faces unstable employment and health issues due to gout. The family has lived near the poverty line for several years, receiving minimal monthly support.

During the program, the emotional impact of the children's stories, including Nhi's wish to earn money to buy her father new clothes, moved the participants and hosts.
