Mia Dio crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2026

Mia Dio has been crowned Miss Universe Cuba 2026 at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Miami. Succeeding Lina Luaces, the 25-year-old content creator will represent Cuba at the Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico.

Dio expressed resilience regarding her journey, noting she previously competed as a finalist in 2025 shortly after experiencing facial paralysis. Following the pageant, former titleholder Lina Luaces transitioned into a new professional role, debuting as a presenter on the Telemundo show ‘En Casa con Telemundo’. Luaces, the daughter of Lili Estefan, introduced a fashion segment during her television debut.
