Miša Sabljić: Humanitarian campaign launched after spinal injury

A humanitarian campaign has been launched to support Miša Sabljić, a 28-year-old from Široki Brijeg, following a severe accident on the island of Brač. While swimming with friends, Sabljić jumped into the sea, hit his head, and lost consciousness. His friends and emergency responders were able to revive him, but he sustained fractures to his first two cervical vertebrae and a severe spinal cord injury.

Sabljić is currently hospitalized at KBC Split. His family is seeking to fund specialized medical treatment at a clinic in Heidelberg, Germany. The estimated cost for the first six months of treatment is 296,746 euros, with an additional 22,850 euros required for transport.
