Miami and Miami Beach hospitality sector sees major developments
Greater Miami and Miami Beach are seeing significant hospitality and infrastructure developments in the third quarter. The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, an 800-room convention headquarters hotel developed by Terra and Turnberry, has reached a major construction milestone with its topping off. Scheduled to open in late 2027, the 17-story property will feature a climate-controlled skybridge connecting it to the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Other notable hospitality updates include the reopening of the Royal Palm South Beach following a $100 million renovation. Now operating as a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Resort, the 404-room property features redesigned guest rooms and restored historic architectural elements. Additionally, the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa has introduced several new guest experiences, including live music series and specialized cocktail programs.
