Miami and Ohio State remain top two in college football rankings
Miami-FL holds the No. 1 spot in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Rankings for a second consecutive week following a 52-23 victory over Pitt. Ohio State remains at No. 2 after an idle week.
Recent upsets have significantly altered the top of the rankings. BYU fell from No. 3 to No. 8 after a 39-31 double-overtime loss to unranked UCF. Notre Dame rose to No. 6, while Georgia moved up to No. 4.
The number of undefeated teams in the FBS has been reduced to three: Miami, UCLA, and Utah. UCLA rose to No. 5 following a win over Michigan State, and Utah moved to No. 7 after defeating an opponent 21-13.
Other notable movements include Indiana rising to No. 4 after a victory over Michigan, and Texas returning to the rankings after defeating Ole Miss 34-27. Conversely, Ole Miss dropped to No. 13, and Texas Tech fell to No. 14 following an upset by Cincinnati.
