Collegiate athletics: Volleyball results and soccer updates

Various collegiate athletic competitions took place over the weekend, highlighted by several volleyball matches and a men's soccer draw.

In volleyball, IU Indianapolis secured a five-set victory (3-2) against Akron at the Hampton Inn Invite. Western Kentucky University (WKU) faced mixed results, sweeping Wright State but falling to Dayton in a five-set match at the Beavercreek Invitational. Butler University delivered a dominant 3-0 performance against Ohio, while Miami University swept Kansas City in three sets.

In men's soccer, the University of Dayton extended its unbeaten streak to four matches following a 1-1 draw against UNCG, a match that was delayed by an hour due to lightning.
