The Miami Heat have bolstered their roster with the additions of Klay Thompson and Nick Richards. Thompson, a former Golden State Warriors player, has expressed interest in breaking the franchise record for most three-pointers made in a single season. The current record is held by Duncan Robinson, who made 270 shots during the 2019-20 season.

Additionally, the Heat signed Nick Richards to a one-year, $3 million contract. The 28-year-old center, who previously played for the Hornets, Suns, and Bulls, aims to provide physical play and energy to the team. Richards stated that the competitive environment under coach Erik Spoelstra is the ideal fit for his style of play.
