Miami Heat pursues Giannis Antetokounmpo trade; also scouting Trae Young

The Miami Heat are intensifying efforts to acquire Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason. Sources say a trade could bring the two‑time MVP to South Beach along with additional assets such as veteran forward Bobby Portis, potentially a first‑round draft pick, and players like Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr. or Tyler Herro.

If the Giannis deal does not materialize, the Heat are also monitoring Washington Wizards guard Trae Young as an alternative high‑impact option. Young, a four‑time All‑Star with a $48.9 million player option, could be explored as a fallback to bolster Miami’s offense should the primary pursuit fall through.
