Miami Heat undergo major roster overhaul ahead of training camp

The Miami Heat have undergone significant roster changes heading into the new NBA season. Following a period of first-round exits and a missed playoff appearance last season, the team has replaced several key scorers, including Norman Powell, Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kel’el Ware.

The new-look roster features additions such as Klay Thompson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Bobby Portis. During the start of training camp, head coach Erik Spoelstra delivered a motivational kickoff speech that reportedly left new player Klay Thompson highly energized.

Spoelstra, entering his 19th season with the franchise, emphasized a collective agenda and a commitment to hard work, aiming to build chemistry within the revamped lineup.
