Miami Hurricanes defeat Central Michigan 52-3

No. 6 Miami secured a dominant 52-3 victory over Central Michigan at Hard Rock Stadium, maintaining a perfect 4-0 record for the season and an unbeaten September. Quarterback Darian Mensah led the Hurricanes with an efficient performance, completing 23 of 27 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns, while adding a rushing touchdown.

Malachi Toney contributed significantly with six receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown. Despite the absence of star running back Mark Fletcher Jr., who was held out as a precaution due to an upper-body injury, Miami’s offensive depth was evident. Reserve running back Chris Wheatley-Humphrey stepped up with 104 rushing yards on 11 carries, including a 35-yard touchdown run.

Central Michigan (2-2) struggled against Miami’s defense, which held the Chippewas to just 21 net rushing yards and forced three turnovers. The Chippewas' only scoring came from a 49-yard field goal by Caden VanHuis. Miami now prepares for an upcoming matchup against Clemson.
