Miami Hurricanes face season-ending injuries to key players

The Miami Hurricanes football team is facing significant roster challenges following their 33-20 victory over Wake Forest. Head coach Mario Cristobal confirmed that running back Marty Brown and wide receiver Joshua Moore will both miss the remainder of the season due to injuries.

Brown sustained a serious knee injury during a second-quarter carry, while Moore is sidelined with an upper-body injury. Additionally, linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin Jr. is expected to miss several weeks with a lower-body injury. Other players, including Mark Fletcher Jr., Malachi Toney, and Ahmad Moten Sr., also sustained injuries during the game, though Cristobal expressed optimism regarding their recovery.

Despite these setbacks, Miami remains undefeated at 3-0. The team recently moved from No. 5 to No. 6 in the AP Poll. They are scheduled to host Central Michigan in their next matchup before facing Clemson on Oct. 3.
