Miami players Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney named to AP All-America team

Miami quarterback Darian Mensah has been named a first-team selection on The Associated Press midseason All-America team. Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney also earned a spot on the list, appearing just behind Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith.

UCLA led all programs with three players on the first-team unit. The selections include eight players from the Southeastern Conference, seven from the Atlantic Coast Conference, and seven from the Big Ten. The team was determined by a panel of media members voting weekly in the AP Top 25.
