Miami police investigate disappearance of Carla Elaine Johnson

Miami police are investigating the disappearance of 64-year-old Carla Elaine Johnson, who has not been heard from in approximately two weeks. Her daughter, social media influencer Victoria Rose Waldrip, known as Woah Vicky, has appealed to the public for information via social media.

Johnson reportedly traveled by bus from Atlanta to Miami to visit her daughter. Her last known location was in the Midtown or Overtown areas of Miami, and her phone is currently switched off.

The disappearance follows an incident on September 25, when Waldrip was arrested in Miami-Dade County on a misdemeanor battery charge. According to police reports, officers responded to a call from a woman—identified as Waldrip's mother—who alleged that her daughter had assaulted her during a five-day visit. While officers noted bruises on the woman's arms, Waldrip denied the assault, stating there had been an argument. A missing person report for Johnson was officially filed on October 8.
