Miami Shores residence undergoes waterfront renovation

Architect Mariana Maisonnave has completed a renovation of a 400 m² two-storey residence in Miami Shores, Florida. The project focused on creating a stronger connection between the home and its waterfront canal setting.

The renovation reorganized the social areas, including the living and dining rooms, kitchen, and outdoor entertaining space, to improve fluidity and increase natural light. The design utilizes a contemporary aesthetic with a light color palette and materials such as wood and travertine to emphasize the canal views.
