Miami University RedHawks defeat Eastern Michigan 3-1 in soccer

The Miami University RedHawks women's soccer team defeated Eastern Michigan 3-1 on Sunday, marking the Eagles' first loss in Mid-American Conference (MAC) play. Kayla Perfect led the RedHawks with two goals, including a decisive penalty kick in the 74th minute.

Katie O'Malley opened the scoring in the 26th minute, assisted by Coltie Carson and Perfect. After Eastern Michigan tied the match with a penalty kick in the 48th minute, Perfect secured the victory with her second goal shortly after. The RedHawks' defense limited Eastern Michigan to just three shots on goal during the contest.
