Miami venues host events for National Dog Month

Various establishments in Miami are hosting events to celebrate National Dog Month and National Dog Day.

Clevelander South Beach will host a ‘Yappy Hour’ on Wednesday, August 26, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Ocean Drive. The event features extended happy hour pricing on draft beers, frozen drinks, and cocktails, alongside food specials including tacos, nachos, and sliders.

In downtown Miami, the InterContinental Miami is offering luxury amenities for canine guests. The hotel, which has been ranked as a top dog-friendly hotel by the Roch rating system, provides perks such as welcome bones, curated bark boxes with bandanas and snacks, and specialized room service options like steak or chicken bowls with raw vegetables. The hotel has also introduced ‘Rocco,’ an AI virtual dog concierge accessible via QR code, and hosts weekly ‘Paws Patio’ community play dates featuring music and pup cups.
