Miata Metals reports high‑grade gold intercepts at Sela Creek, Suriname

Miata Metals Corp. announced new drill results from its 25,000 m diamond‑drilling program at the Sela Creek gold project in Suriname. Hole 26DDH‑JT‑019 intersected 30 m averaging 4.06 g/t Au, including 14 m at 8.20 g/t Au and higher‑grade sections of 14.83 g/t, 36.20 g/t and 11.24 g/t Au. The same hole also returned additional mineralised intervals above and below the core zone.

A second hole, 26DDH‑BB‑013, located about 150 m west of the Big Berg discovery, intersected 16.5 m at 2.15 g/t Au with sub‑intervals up to 4.68 g/t Au. These results support the interpretation that the Jons Trend and Big Berg zones form a contiguous, structurally controlled gold corridor roughly 1,300 m long and open laterally and at depth.

Miata has completed about 50 % of its fully funded 2026 drilling program and will continue drilling at multiple targets within Sela Creek. CEO Dr. Jacob (Jaap) Verbaas described hole JT‑019 as “an exceptional drill hole” that enhances the company’s understanding of the high‑grade architecture of the system.
