Micah Jiba appointed FCT Coordinator for YARI 774 Initiative

The YARI 774 Initiative for Asiwaju has appointed Hon. Micah Jiba as the official Coordinator for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to lead grassroots mobilization for the 2027 presidential election.

During a news conference in Abuja, Ibrahim Emokpaire, the initiative's Convener and Chairman, stated that the appointment aims to establish an accountable leadership structure and prevent unauthorized individuals from misrepresenting the group. Emokpaire expressed support for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), while also acknowledging Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, the initiative's Grand Patron, as the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

In his acceptance speech, Jiba, a former member of the House of Representatives and former Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), pledged to use his local government networks to secure a victory for the APC in 2027. The initiative plans to inaugurate state executive structures across the 36 states and the FCT.
