Micah Parsons' brother criticizes Dallas Cowboys on trade anniversary
On the one-year anniversary of Micah Parsons’ departure from the Dallas Cowboys, his brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., criticized the organization on social media. Terrence reposted a viral image of the linebacker lying on a trainer’s table during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons, which occurred amidst a tense contract dispute. He captioned the post, “Best thing Micah ever did to get the F outta there.”
The dispute followed failed negotiations between Parsons and the Cowboys. Although the team had exercised his fifth-year option, a rift grew after agent David Mulugheta rejected a contract offer. Following the preseason incident, the Cowboys traded Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for Kenny Clark and two first-round picks.
Since joining the Packers, Parsons signed a four-year, $188 million deal. During his first season in Green Bay, he recorded 41 tackles and 12.5 sacks before suffering a knee injury in Week 15 that resulted in a torn ACL and meniscus damage.
