Micah Parsons nears return from ACL injury

Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons is nearing a return to the field following a torn ACL and meniscus injury sustained in December. Currently on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, Parsons has not yet returned to practice but is in the final stages of ensuring his knee is stable for competition.

Speaking on his podcast, ‘The Edge With Micah Parsons’, the five-time Pro Bowler explained his cautious approach to recovery. He noted that while he would play immediately if it were the Super Bowl, he is prioritizing long-term health to avoid overcompensation injuries. Parsons emphasized the importance of addressing the underlying causes of the injury rather than just the ACL itself.

Parsons, who was traded to the Packers from the Dallas Cowboys, is the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league. Despite his absence this season, he earned his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
