Micah Parsons unlikely to return to practice ahead of Packers-Cowboys game

Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons is unlikely to return to practice this week as the team prepares for a Sunday night matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons, who has been sidelined since tearing his ACL in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos, remains uncertain regarding his exact return date, though there is hope he may return later this month.

The absence of Parsons comes amid scrutiny of the Dallas Cowboys' roster management. Following the trade of Parsons, the Cowboys signed tight end Jake Ferguson to a four-year, $52 million contract extension featuring $20 million in guaranteed money. Ferguson's recent performance has faced criticism, including a recent loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he dropped two passes, one of which contributed to a game-sealing interception by Dak Prescott.
