MICE Boat Show relocates to Maastricht due to low Rhine water levels

The MICE Boat Show, organized by ILLERHAUS Marketing, held its premiere in late September aboard the Connect, a vessel operated by Transcend Cruises. Originally scheduled to take place in Cologne, Germany, the event was forced to relocate to Maastricht, Netherlands, due to low water levels on the Rhine.

The industry event brought together event planners, hotels, locations, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) providers for networking and professional exchange. The Connect vessel, which is specifically designed for corporate events, served as both the venue and a showcase for new possibilities in water-based event hosting. The evening featured a presentation by moderator Mario Schmidt and included representatives from Tourism Affairs and the Transcend Cruises team.
