Michał Janczura investigation tops July media reach

A report by the Institute for Media Monitoring (IMM) identified Michał Janczura’s investigation for Wirtualna Polska as the most widely circulated publication in July. The article, titled “26 thousand per hour. Neurosurgeons earned, the hospital has a penalty and a bailiff,” details the activities of a company of neurosurgeons performing procedures in district hospitals, including Mogilno.

According to findings by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and hospital authorities, there were allegations of improper settlement of services and medical documentation irregularities. These actions resulted in a fine of over 2.6 million PLN imposed on the facility and triggered prosecutorial proceedings.
