Michael Agbekpornu joins Raja Casablanca on contract until 2029

Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu has joined Moroccan club Raja Casablanca on a free transfer. The 27-year-old central midfielder signed a contract that will keep him at the Botola Pro Inwi club until June 30, 2029.

Agbekpornu arrives in Morocco following a stint with Spanish side SD Huesca, where he made 10 appearances in LaLiga2. His professional career includes significant experience in various European leagues, having played for Slaven Belupo in Croatia, where he made 63 appearances, and KF Egnatia in Albania, where he helped the club win the Albanian Cup during the 2022/23 season.

Before moving to Europe, the Accra-born player began his career with Dreams FC in Ghana. Standing at 1.88 metres, Agbekpornu is expected to strengthen Raja Casablanca's midfield options for the upcoming season.
