Michael Anthony joins Jason Bonham for special performance

Michael Anthony, the former bassist for Van Halen, joined Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening for a special guest performance at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, California.

In a departure from the group’s 16-year tradition of performing exclusively from the Led Zeppelin catalog, the band played the Van Halen classic ‘Runnin’ With the Devil’. During the performance, Anthony sang the iconic hook, a role he originally performed on the 1978 studio recording.

Following the collaboration, the band transitioned into the Led Zeppelin song ‘Rock and Roll’, with lead vocalist James Dylan and Anthony alternating lead duties. Bonham and Anthony have previously worked together in Sammy Hagar and the Circle.
