Michael Beasley defeats Delonte West via first-round TKO

Former NBA players Michael Beasley and Delonte West faced each other in a heavyweight boxing match at the Brand Risk 16 event in Miami, Florida. Beasley secured a victory via technical knockout (TKO) just 62 seconds into the first round.

Beasley, a 6-foot-10 former power forward, utilized a significant height and reach advantage over the 6-foot-3 West to control the distance. While West attempted to close the gap with aggressive strikes, he was unable to land meaningful shots and eventually fell to the canvas after receiving several short punches from Beasley. The referee ended the bout after West failed to beat the 10-count.

This match marks Beasley’s second appearance under the Brand Risk promotion, following a previous MMA bout against Lance Stephenson. For West, this was his first foray into combat sports. Following the match, West appeared disoriented while speaking to the ring announcer.
