Michael Clark schedules court appearance in Chile’s Sartor corruption case

Michael Clark, former president of the football club Azul Azul, is facing formalisation in the Sartor case, a corruption investigation in Chile. He told reporters he will present his defence in court on Monday, 10 August, after earlier stages of the process concluded.

The Chilean police (PDI) have linked Clark financially to Patrick Kiblisky, former owner of Ñublense and associate of former ANFP chief Sergio Jadue, citing contracts found in a raid on the club’s offices on 24 April. Clark also mentioned a commercial relationship with Marcelo Pesce and said he is “calm” and expects to clarify the allegations in court.
