Michael Dell defends wife Susan after social media mockery

Michael Dell, founder of Dell Technologies, has publicly defended his wife, Susan Dell, following widespread online mockery of her appearance. The controversy arose after the couple appeared in the Oval Office on October 7 alongside President Donald Trump to announce a $6.25 billion donation to the ‘Trump Accounts’ program. The initiative aims to provide $250 to 25 million American children to help build a financial foundation for their futures.

Despite the scale of the philanthropic gesture, social media users focused on Susan Dell’s physical appearance, with some users making disparaging comparisons to horror movie characters and speculating about cosmetic procedures. In response, Michael Dell shared several posts on X that defended his wife and highlighted the positive impact the donation has had on families, including one user noting that their grandson received funds from the account.

In addition to the social media backlash, the couple’s appearance has drawn attention to their family and wealth. The Dells, who married in 1989, have four children—Kira, Juliette, Alexa, and Zach—who are set to inherit a fortune estimated at $278 billion.
