Michael Douglas and Glenn Close reunite on The Graham Norton Show
Actors Michael Douglas and Glenn Close reunited on an episode of The Graham Norton Show to celebrate Douglas’s book, One Helluva Ride. The two stars, who share a friendship spanning nearly four decades, originally worked together on the 1987 psychological thriller Fatal Attraction.
During the appearance, Douglas admitted that he and the production team initially doubted whether Close was the right fit for her iconic role as Alex Forrest, though she insisted on auditioning and ultimately earned an Academy Award nomination for the performance.
Close also discussed the film’s production, noting that the original ending was changed following audience testing. While the initial version featured a different conclusion, the ending was reshot six months later to satisfy American audience preferences, a decision Close stated she initially resisted.
