Michael Douglas provides update on Jack Nicholson

Actor Michael Douglas has shared insights into the current life of his long-time friend, Jack Nicholson. Speaking at an event in Swansea, Wales, during the presentation of his memoirs, “One Helluva Ride”, Douglas addressed public curiosity regarding the 89-year-old Oscar winner.

Douglas stated that Nicholson is no longer working and has intentionally withdrawn from the spotlight. He confirmed that they remain in contact, noting that Nicholson spends his time at home. Douglas expressed understanding for his colleague's decision to retire, remarking that Nicholson has earned his privacy.

The two actors share a professional history dating back to 1975, when Douglas produced “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, which earned Nicholson his first Academy Award for Best Actor.
