Michael Douglas to discuss new memoir in Chicago

Actor Michael Douglas is scheduled to appear at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Chicago on October 17 for a live conversation regarding his new memoir, ‘One Helluva Ride’. The event follows the book's publication on October 6.

Douglas will discuss his five-decade career, using 12 films—including ‘Wall Street’ and ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’—as touchstones. The memoir also covers personal topics such as his relationship with his father, Kirk Douglas, his marriages, struggles with addiction, and his battle with stage IV cancer.

The Chicago appearance is part of a broader tour that includes stops in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the United Kingdom.
