Michael Dunlop and John McGuinness dominate 2026 Classic TT

The 2026 Classic TT on the Isle of Man featured standout performances from veteran riders. Michael Dunlop secured multiple victories, including the Senior Classic finale on a Suzuki GSX-R750, where he set a lap of 128.596 mph. His success at the event included wins in the Formula 1 and Lightweight categories.

John McGuinness, celebrating 30 years of racing at the TT, won the Historic Senior Classic race riding a Winfield Paton. His victory marked his first win in seven years. To commemorate his career, Honda UK released a limited edition of fifteen CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP replicas featuring his racing livery.

In the inaugural Junior 600 race, Rob Hodson took first place on a Yamaha YZF-R6, finishing 24.32 seconds ahead of Barry Furber. Hodson set the fastest lap of the race at 120.276 mph. The event schedule was adjusted by organizers due to unfavorable weather forecasts for the latter part of the week.
