Michael Fromm Appointed to Reading City Revitalization Authority Board

Mayor Eddie Morán appointed Michael Fromm, executive chairman of Fromm Electric Supply, to the Reading City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) Authority Board. Fromm has more than three decades of experience in business and economic development in Reading, owns downtown investment properties, and has served in leadership roles with numerous local organizations.

Morán said Fromm’s business background and long‑time advocacy for the city make him a valuable addition to the board. Fromm highlighted the critical role of economic development for the community’s well‑being and pledged to work with stakeholders to attract new investment. He also serves on the boards of Alvernia University and the Berks County Intermediate Unit Foundation, and has held positions with the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce, the Berks Economic Partnership, Our City Reading, the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, Opportunity House, United Way, and the Wyomissing Foundation.
