Michael Jackson heirs clash over $4 billion estate as Paris Jackson seeks $3 million return

Paris Jackson, daughter of the late pop star Michael Jackson, has filed a lawsuit demanding the return of almost $3 million she says was improperly paid by the estate. She alleges the estate's executor, John Branca, mismanaged funds, including unauthorized legal fees and donations, and that the payment should be restored to the estate. Paris's siblings, Prince and Bigi Jackson, are also in dispute with her over the administration of the roughly $4 billion inheritance, with tensions heightened after the release of the biopic "Michael".

The three siblings now communicate only through attorneys, and the estate's handling continues to be scrutinized amid claims of excessive litigation and conflicts of interest. Paris has criticized Branca's actions, stating, “El Sr. Branca optó por litigar excesivamente este asunto…”. The case follows a 2018 court order that required the return of certain funds to the estate.
