Michael Jackson: Legacy tributes and updates on Neverland estate

As the world marks the legacy of Michael Jackson, various tributes and updates regarding his estate have emerged. A production titled ‘Michael Jackson Legacy’ was presented at the Casino de Montréal on August 20, 2026. The show, inspired by the film Moonwalker, features dancers and singers performing iconic hits and recreating memorable career moments within a 1930s speakeasy setting.

Regarding his former estate, the property formerly known as Neverland has been renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch. The name change occurred in 2011 following the acquisition of debt by Colony Capital. In 2020, billionaire Ron Burkle purchased the ranch for approximately $22 million, a significant decrease from its 2015 valuation of $100 million. The estate now serves as a private residence rather than a tourist destination.
