Michael Jepsen Jensen ranks fourth in Speedway Grand Prix, says he’s surprised

Danish speedway rider Michael Jepsen Jensen is fourth in the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix standings, a position he describes as surprising given his lack of confidence this season. He noted a 21‑point gap to third‑placed Robert Lambert and an 11‑point lead over fifth‑placed Patryk Dudek, while acknowledging that a medal may be out of reach.

Jensen, who returned to the Grand Prix circuit after a decade‑long break, also competes in Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga, having moved from PSŻ Poznań to GKM Grudziądz. At the recent Grand Prix round in Łódź, he finished fourth in the final after a modest showing in the qualifying heats, reinforcing his place among the sport’s leading competitors.
