Michael Kofoid wins Short Track Nationals at Texarkana 67 Speedway

Michael ‘Buddy’ Kofoid secured the Short Track Nationals title at Texarkana 67 Speedway, marking his 17th victory of the 2026 season. Driving the Roth Motorsports No. 83, Kofoid executed a decisive slide job on Cole Macedo with six laps remaining in the 40-lap, $25,000-to-win main event to take the lead.

Kofoid’s victory broke a 27-year-old record previously held by Danny Lasoski, who achieved 16 wins in 1999. This win also establishes Roth Motorsports as the winningest team on tour for the current campaign. The race featured several incidents, including red flags for Ashton Torgerson and Blake Hahn, as well as a caution involving Sheldon Haudenschild and Logan Schuchart.
