Michael Olise enters contract talks with Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich is preparing to enter contract renewal negotiations with French winger Michael Olise to secure his long-term future. While his current deal runs until 2029, the club aims to extend his stay until 2032.
To retain the 24-year-old, Bayern is reportedly prepared to offer a significant salary increase, potentially raising his earnings from approximately €14 million to a level matching key players Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, around €21 million to €25 million per year.
A central point of contention in the negotiations is the inclusion of a release clause. Olise is reportedly seeking a high buyout clause, estimated at approximately £170 million, to maintain control over his future career moves amid interest from clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool. Some reports suggest Bayern may only consider a release clause if the amount exceeds €200 million.
