Michael Owen and daughter Gemma promote new family docuseries

Former England footballer Michael Owen and his daughter, dressage rider Gemma Owen, are promoting their new Prime Video docuseries, ‘Meet the Owens’. The series follows the family and their shared passion for horse racing and managing stables.

During an appearance on BBC Breakfast, the family addressed the long-standing public perception of Michael Owen as ‘boring’. Michael noted that while he was often micromanaged into a specific image early in his career, the documentary aims to show his authentic personality at home. Gemma added that the show will reveal a more entertaining side of her father to viewers.
