Michael Owen's Family Docuseries 'Meet the Owens' Debuts on Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for "Meet the Owens," a six‑part fly‑on‑the‑wall documentary that follows former England striker Michael Owen, his wife Louise, and their four children—Gemma, James, Emily and Jessica. The series chronicles the family’s daily life and their horse‑racing business, which includes around 140 horses and faces the risk of losing up to £1 million in the coming year. Each child pursues personal ambitions: Gemma balances racing with a social‑media presence, Emily aims for university, Jessica dreams of the Olympics, and James, diagnosed with Stargardt disease, is being prepared for a role in the family operation. The trailer also features cameo appearances from former teammates such as Wayne Rooney. "Meet the Owens" will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 28 August, with all six episodes released simultaneously.
