Michael Porter Jr. Talks Retirement Timeline and Ex‑Girlfriends at Rubin’s White Party

NBA forward Michael Porter Jr. told the Girls, Disrupted podcast that five of his former girlfriends were present at Michael Rubin’s All White Party in Bridgehampton, New York, over the Fourth of July weekend. He described the scene as “hectic” and said he tried to stay out of the way.

Porter, 28, also shared his retirement outlook, saying he hopes to be done playing within the next five to six years so he can focus on raising children. He reflected on a career marked by two back surgeries, a 2023 NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets, and a breakout season with the Brooklyn Nets averaging nearly 25 points per game. The Nets are now weighing a potential contract extension for Porter as they consider his long‑term fit alongside younger guards.

The trade that sent Porter to Brooklyn also gave the Nets a 2032 first‑round pick from Denver, a future asset the franchise hopes will appreciate in value.
