Michael Rosen poetry anthology released by Walker Books

Walker Books has released ‘Peas On Your Knees: A Life in the Poems of Michael Rosen’, a new anthology featuring a selection of the poet’s most performable verses for children. The collection serves as an incisive resume of Rosen’s work, exploring the creative imagination and the complex relationship between adults and children through a juvenile perspective.

The anthology includes illustrations by several renowned artists, such as Quentin Blake, Polly Dunbar, Bob Graham, Yasmeen Ismail, and Ken Wilson-Max. The poems are noted for their situational authenticity and humor, often satirizing parental figures through the eyes of a child.
